Information on Senior High Schools in Ghana (All Schools)
Upon successful completion of Basic Education (B.E.C.E), there is a 3-year Senior Secondary School. Students from Basic Education automatically qualifies for Senior High School education, however, the type of school and the programme they can be offered usually depends on the grade acquired during the Basic Education Certificate Examination (B.E.C.E) and the competition for the programme and the school.
Nowadays, there have been a computer placement system that supervises the placement of students to schools based on the schools chosen by them during the application and registration process of B.E.C.E. Usually, students with the better aggregate and placement is always at advantage.
